We’ve made it past the guard dogs, hiked up the stream, criss crossed the forest, and climbed high high above Mazeri for this little dinky lake. Oh well. Still pretty gorgeous. Another great day hiking around Mazeri.

Pardon our tardy announcement – but here it goes – we have added a new travel companion to our team back in June: Nicholas. Its been a very new type of adventure for us, but we are slowly getting into the groove as a team of three. And while things have certainly changed around here…

Checking out the campus of Science and Technology University in Wuhan China. Only something like 60,000 people live on campus. There are 38 (!) canteens.
On our last day in Albania we decided on a little day trip from Tirana to Kruje Castle, the bastion of the most eulogized national hero: Skanderbeg. Skanderbeg was an Albanian noble who led a resistance movement – with some success – to the Ottoman Empire in mid 15th century. Pretty neat historical stuff. The castle…
