We spent half a day at Novodevichy Monastery, and thoroughly enjoyed it – few people /tourists and enclosed walls make it feel like a peaceful sanctuary far away from Moscow’s hustle and bustle. More wats! Vientiane is full of them, and they are seriously strikingly beautiful. Don’t listen to the naysayers who say that Vientiane isn’t worth a visit — it totally is! Just look at these wats. ) Also featured – the national stuppa that is depicted on Lao Kip.

Our last full day relaxing on Suang Luang beach in Bang Saphan, Thailand. Sergey gives a tour of our bungalows Love at Sea – more like a house – which we liked very much. And of course another look at the Gulf of Thailand.
A short stop at the very holy Alaverdi Monastery, dating back to the 6th century. Rahter beautiful and peaceful, the monastery also features a wine cellar — common for religious buildings all across Georgia. The country is known to have invented wine making after all.
