Enjoying our first day in Cappadocia with a 360 panorama of the magical landscape from the Uchisar Castle. Its possible to visit a few of the “rooms” in the castle — which aren’t much more than hollowed out caves. But still – its kind of fascinating ot imagine people carving these, and then living here!
Day 1 of our first unsupervised motorcycle trip. Her name is Indi, and we purchased her in Vang Vieng. She carried us, plus all of our luggage up and down some steep hills between Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang. She did well 🙂
More wats! Vientiane is full of them, and they are seriously strikingly beautiful. Don’t listen to the naysayers who say that Vientiane isn’t worth a visit — it totally is! Just look at these wats. ) Also featured – the national stuppa that is depicted on Lao Kip.
