We climbed all the way to the top of Ratnagiri hill, which hosts the small Savitri temple, to bring y’all the views of tiny (!) Pushkar.
A visit to the Istanbul Archeology Museum is a must – fascinating artifacts dating back 5-6 thousand (!!) years ago, uncovered as recently as a few years ago when the city began construction of Marmaray rail link under the Bosphorous.
Exploring cave churches in the Zelve Open Air Museum — this one is a bit off the beaten path in Cappadocia, but actually turned out to be a pretty neat and extensive site. Lots of climbing, lots of fascinating dwellings — definitely recommend.
We take the “bus” (aka minivan) from Ha Tien to Can Tho — the supposedly 5 hour ride is more like 6, with frequent pit stops to drop off and pick up passengers and goods. Though long, and short on comfort, there is quite interesting scenery as the bus passes through small settlements and towns…
