We make a pit stop on a train station somewhere in Siberia, between Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk, Russia.
Another day by the sea — this time at Gonio beach, maybe 20 minutes outside of Batumi by bus. The beach is very clean, if still pebbly. The sea is beautiful. Supermarkets of the world series – Chengdu, China grocery shopping.
We are off on Part II of our China adventure, starting with taking the Mag[netic] Lev[itation] train from Pudong airport to Shanghai!
Our first day exploring the Balkans. We are in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade — check out the statue of the victor, the confluence of Danube and Sava Rivers, and an old Belgrade fortress. Pretty neat stuff.
