Have you ever wondered why Vang Vieng became the party central of Laos? I think there are several good reasons. It’s a midway stop between Vientiane and Luangprabang. It’s pretty damn good looking, but there isn’t much else to do. Except for stare at the beautiful nature, and you know, float down a fast moving river. The Lao government cracked down on the party aspect, but the scenery is still there. )
