Our first day exploring the Balkans. We are in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade — check out the statue of the victor, the confluence of Danube and Sava Rivers, and an old Belgrade fortress. Pretty neat stuff.
Just crossed the border from Aranyaprathet to Poipet and hopped on a bus to our first destination in Cambodia, Battambang. Here we are first few minutes in a new country. Cheers!

On our last day in Albania we decided on a little day trip from Tirana to Kruje Castle, the bastion of the most eulogized national hero: Skanderbeg.
