Adventures around Tbilisi ramparts — we climbed the Narikala Fortress, high above the capital, for spectacular city views. Fun fact: Originally it was established in the 4th century as Shuris-tsikhe, or enviable stronghold. But when the Mongols invaded Georgia in 13th century, they renamed the fortress Narikala, or little fortress.
Taking a 10 hour bus, right in the middle of the day from Egirdir to Goreme — on our way to check out the famous Cappadocia region of Turkey.
Happy Valentines day from India’s most romantic city — Udaipur. It is also one of the most famous, thanks to the fact that James Bond Octopussy was filmed here, and the Lake Palace run by the Taj Hotel Group is a world class luxury destination (maybe next time?)
Visiting the Taj Mahal, the COOLEST THING EVER! Its probably just the hype around it, but it really is an unbelievable feeling to be standing right there.
Jumping off at the bus stop in Chengdu after our adventure in Tibet.
A bird’s eye view of the city from Saigon Sheraton. A very enjoyable happy hour on the terrace at sunset (from 4 to 7 pm) – two for one cocktails and beers.
