Our first day exploring the Balkans. We are in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade — check out the statue of the victor, the confluence of Danube and Sava Rivers, and an old Belgrade fortress. Pretty neat stuff.
Having been in Laos for a few weeks, our arrival in Luang Prabang – the country’s most famous and most visited city – was a shock to the system. After our adventures in the high mountains of Tusheti and lovely wine country of Khakhetia, it was high time for us to take advantage of the famous Tbilisi sulphur baths. We booked our own private room with a hot pool for an hour — here is a little preview of how it all went down.
Just crossed the border from Aranyaprathet to Poipet and hopped on a bus to our first destination in Cambodia, Battambang. Here we are first few minutes in a new country. Cheers!
Hanging out in our hotel pool in Hoi An. We really enjoyed our stay at Kiman Hotel, where we stayed for a week. We used the pool every single day – complete delight, particularly in the scorching summer season.
