We got so super lucky on our day trip outside Mandalay! A monk initiation ceremony on full display, so fascinating and so beautiful. Definitely one of (many) highlights from our trip to Myanmar.
Hands down our favorite day in Myanmar — there is something very magical about Hpa-an countryside. Or maybe it was all in the timing — who knows. But we wished we could’ve spent longer.
Day thee on the back of a motorcycle. Just a short ride from Phu Yen is the picturesque village of Mai Cha. Come along on a ride through the Mai Chau rice paddies. We had fun exploring the gorgeous little hamlets (even in the intense heat!)
We take a walk through a maze of o-torri gates at the Fushimi Inari shrine in Tokyo. It is a shinto shrine dedicated ot the gods of rice and sake.
