Most definitely our worst, most dangerous transport day on this trip. Welcome to Georgia, where a bus ticket gets you a seat in a private minivan from hell – otherwise known as our epic 9 hour, 3 different buses commute from Mestia to Tbilisi.
We go up and up and up on the bus from Chengdu to Kangding — the starting point for our Tibet adventure.
