Our first day exploring the Balkans. We are in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade — check out the statue of the victor, the confluence of Danube and Sava Rivers, and an old Belgrade fortress. Pretty neat stuff.

Another train ride. This time leaving Chengdu on our way for southern Kunming. Still China.
Hanoi’s famous dish: Cha Ca La Vong. Although we didn’t go to the original eatery, so in this instance it is Cha Ca Ha Noi, and is eaten rolled up in rice paper. Easy peasy. And Delicious!
Exploring the beautiful temples of the ancient Bagan, Myanmar.
Stuck at the border crossing at Naushki, Russia for 5 hours. Talked to the customs officer, made a new friend, Chema from Spain, and helped out a nice Japanese gentlemen – Shinya Watanabe(shinyawatanabe.net)
