On our last day in Albania we decided on a little day trip from Tirana to Kruje Castle, the bastion of the most eulogized national hero: Skanderbeg. You know that nice little guest house from yesterday? Well it came with puppies! Three of them — Pepsi, Pancake and Sandwich. How could those three not be your favorites?!
We take the norry, aka Cambodian train! A bamboo raft, set on the original network built by the French, and powered by a motorcycle engine. Locals still take it short distances — I think we caught a bunch of school kids going home. If nothing else, it is very scenic and very fun.
