26 October 2013 – Chengdu, China
Riding around Chengdu in a car (!) with our gracious and lovely host ShanShan. In the video we pass by the main square – Tianfu.

We got so super lucky on our day trip outside Mandalay! A monk initiation ceremony on full display, so fascinating and so beautiful. Definitely one of (many) highlights from our trip to Myanmar.
Hanging out on lake Egirdir — this beach is right outside of Charly’s pension where we stayed. A wonderful retreat it was )
Last day in Seoul, also happens to be 65th anniversary of South Korea’s armed forces. A military parade – how cool is that?!
Made it to the famous Mandalay Hill.
Unbeknownst to us we try the famous Lao crepes (pancakes) and deem them to be the best desert ever. Seriously, I can see why backpackers are all about this stuff — its delicious! And can be found in every small town in Laos.
One day retreat to Takayama.. definitely a tourist trap as a town, but probably worth it if you are staying more than 2 days for hikes etc.
