Jenia and our friend Nastya learn how to drive a scooter under Sergey’s patient guidance. Don’t worry we wear helmets on the road! it was just particularly hot that day and slow driving makes helmets oh so uncomfortable and itchy.
A small slice of Russia summer house (dacha) heaven outside of Petrozavodsk. This is what pure bliss is to a Russian )
At the top of Ushba glacier! It took us only 5.5 hours (!!) Seriously the Ushba glacier hike was the most physically demanding trek we’ve done on this trip, but how cool is it to climb up to a glacier?! pretty cool. At the top its a little windy, chilly, somewhat snowy, and a whole lot…
Our first day in Budapest was amazing – fell in love immediately. There is so much to do, like hang out by the wading pool downtown — Akvárium klub — and watch all the beautiful people or read a book or play on your phone.
We talk about how much we love Mile Map Hostel in Bangkok. We show you our room. Yes, Jenia is pretty much nesting. But Mile Map makes it easy because its clean and it looks good!
