A visit to the princess islands – a short commute of 1.5 hours across the Marmara Sea – was one of the highlights of our stay in Istanbul. Mostly for the ferry ride and the cimit (turkish sesame bagels) that you can purchase on the boat.
Day 2 of our motorcycle adventure through northern and central Vietnam. We stayed in Phu Yen to explore the Ta Sua nature reserve by motorbike. Stunning views and plenty of minority villages — we got some pretty hard stares, I suspect not too many Westerners make it this way.
Stuck at the border crossing at Naushki, Russia for 5 hours. Talked to the customs officer, made a new friend, Chema from Spain, and helped out a nice Japanese gentlemen – Shinya Watanabe(shinyawatanabe.net)
