AC Chair, fancy pants class for short distance travel on Indian trains. Well, maybe not too fancy. But you do get your own chair that no one can squeeze you from.

We climbed all the way to the top of Ratnagiri hill, which hosts the small Savitri temple, to bring y’all the views of tiny (!) Pushkar.

A stop at Sonu juice, one of our favorites in Pushkar. Fresh fruit salads and juices, yum.

Market of Jodhpur – a rather hectic and loud affair, much like in other cities in Rajasthan state.

A visit to the Mehrangarh Fort  in Jodhpur — our favorite fort of the ones we saw in Rajhstan. Who knew that India had such a princely history. The warrior kings of Jodhpur and Udaipur were never captured by the Mughals, the last ruling dynasty of India.

Riding in the rickshaw – our most frequently used method of transport in India – to the train station.

A visit to the Amber fort, formerly the royal residence of the Jaipur kings. All of it is all the more fascinating for Jenia, who is currently reading A Princess Remembers by Gayatri Devi, who was married to the last Maharaja of Jaipur.

Visiting the Taj Mahal, the COOLEST THING EVER! Its probably just the hype around it, but it really is an unbelievable feeling to be standing right there.
