Walking route to Jvari church from Mtskeheta turned out to be super simple – despite the guidebook threatening us with a hard and tedious trek. Totally worth it too considering taxis were trying to charge something ridiculous like $10. Views are a bonus )
A statue to Leo Tolstoy, one of Russia’s greatest authors, in New Delhi. Also some dirt, and a government run emporium for crafts (read: rugs) and such.
End of delightful Day 2 of Thakhek Loop, we stopped in the Thong Lor village right outside the famous 7.5 km cave. The cave comes complete with a river, a boat trip, and is definitely worth the trip. As is the countryside in Thong Lor – just beautiful.
More everyday ramblings from Moscow.
Another look at the karst mountains in Vang Vieng. We were very lucky to find a nice little room, perched high above a restaurant, and secluded from other guests to enjoy this view for a few days.
