A visit to the princess islands – a short commute of 1.5 hours across the Marmara Sea – was one of the highlights of our stay in Istanbul. Mostly for the ferry ride and the cimit (turkish sesame bagels) that you can purchase on the boat.
Merry Christmas from the southern Myanmar town of Mawlamyien. Not much in a way of celebrations going on that we saw — although we did talk to one pastor. Regardless a perfectly pleasant day.
