Merry Christmas from the southern Myanmar town of Mawlamyien. Not much in a way of celebrations going on that we saw — although we did talk to one pastor. Regardless a perfectly pleasant day.
We climbed all the way to the top of Ratnagiri hill, which hosts the small Savitri temple, to bring y’all the views of tiny (!) Pushkar.
Market of Jodhpur – a rather hectic and loud affair, much like in other cities in Rajasthan state.
Hands down our favorite day in Myanmar — there is something very magical about Hpa-an countryside. Or maybe it was all in the timing — who knows. But we wished we could’ve spent longer.
Riding a remorque, or a Cambodian version of a tuk tuk from the bus station to our guest house on Kampot river.
Taking the night train from Yangon to Mandalay.
