Toboggan ride to the top of the mountain overlooking the Gulf of Thailand? Awesome! Ride down — thrilling! We had a really awesome time in Ha Tien, our first stop in Vietnam.

All aboard the tourist boat, departing Rabbit island, Cambodia. The easiest island trip we’ve ever taken. Sad to say goodbye to Cambodia on our last full day in the country. We met a bunch of teenagers hanging out on Rabbit island for the weekend, and they wanted us to let everyone know to come and…
Day 2 on Rabbit Island, Cambodia. Not much to report, just that there are plenty of hammocks for naps. So you should go, and stay awhile 😉
Marooned on a desert island in the Gulf of Island…almost. Rabbit Island is a neat little getaway, only 30 minutes by boat from Kep. There are plenty of huts to rent for a few days. No wifi on the island, which makes for lots of reading, writing, and reflecting time.
Another amazing accommodation in Cambodia — Bacoma in Kep. Â Seriously, Cambodia must win first prize in global competition for most amazing value hotels. This stone bungalow beauty was only $10 a night!
Changing guesthouses was so worth it for this beaut: GreenHouse on Kampot River. Best and most relaxing day in Cambodia! We hope to be back someday for at least a week!
It’s 4 o’clock on the river! Just enjoying some hammock time in our bungalow at Bodhvilla guesthouse on Kampot river, Cambodia.
Riding a remorque, or a Cambodian version of a tuk tuk from the bus station to our guest house on Kampot river.
A visit to the Russian market Phnom Penh, Cambodia. *So.much.* amazing stuff. Like the recycled cement bag wallet and tote bag that Jenia purchased.
When we first arrived in Phnom Penh we noticed an astonishing number of Lexus and Highlander jeeps driving around downtown. So we decided to count how many there are — turns out we got 13 in just about a block and half or 4 minutes. Who knew?
Taking the Giant Ibis bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Giant Ibis is kind of like Bolt Bus in the US. Full of young professionals, with complimentary water and wifi (which just like on Bolt Bus performs at 100%, 50% of the time :). Now, if Cambodian highways were equivalents of DC-NYC expressway,…
